Modern Day Matchmaking was created for thoughtful singles who want more than another dating app, another surface-level match, or another cycle that leads nowhere.

We created this because too many great people were being failed by modern dating. Our process looks deeper than preferences, to how people truly connect, what they genuinely need, and whether they're ready to build something real.

Dale spent years working as a Matchmaker and Relationship Coach and saw firsthand how often good people who were ready for a meaningful relationship were being failed by dating systems. When Saramanda, whose background is in psychology, discovered what he was building, she saw something rare: a matching approach grounded in deeper compatibility factors, not just shared interests, but deep compatibility that supports lasting connection.

Meet the Founders

"We wanted to build something that actually works, where the people who are ready for real love can find each other."

Dale brings over 10 years of Couples Coaching experience and 5 years of professional Matchmaking experience. He built a process that goes far beyond surface-level attraction, using psychology, compatibility science, and deep human intuition to make thoughtful introductions.

Saramanda brings a background in psychology and human development, with more than 30 years working with children and communities. Her understanding of how people bond, attach, and grow together informs every part of how we assess and match.

Together they refined and expanded the process into what is now Modern Day Matchmaking, a private, human-led service built for people serious about real partnership.
